Hi! I'm Sharon
I am a Trauma Informed Mindfulness Teacher, Mind Body Coach and the founder of 'Mindful Moments for Moms'.
I am passionate about supporting moms who are seeking healing, growth, and more moments of calm in their motherhood journey. When I became pregnant with my first child in my early 30’s I knew that I needed to make some changes in my life. As someone who had experienced childhood trauma I was motivated by a deep desire to interrupt maladaptive behaviors and break generational cycles so I wouldn’t pass on the negative effects of trauma to my own kids. I was willing to do whatever was needed which led me on a profound path of self-discovery and transformation.
During my personal healing journey, I discovered that while traditional talk therapy was deeply impactful and helpful, it alone couldn't address the deep-rooted patterns and disconnection from my body. It was through mindfulness practices that I found the missing piece, reconnecting with my inner self and paving the way for true healing. Drawing from both my personal experiences and extensive training, I integrate mindfulness, positive psychology, self-compassion, and somatic practices into my coaching.
As a certified mindfulness teacher, trauma-sensitive practitioner and mind-body coach, I bring a diverse range of qualifications to guide and support you. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and non-judgment. I create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your unique journey, heal past wounds, and develop practical tools to reduce stress and embrace moments of calm and connection. Together, we'll work towards breaking generational cycles, improving emotion regulation, and empowering you to show up as the mom you've always wanted to be.
